Katy and Steve’s beautiful intimate wedding is one to write home about. First of all, any wedding where I get to take pictures of friends in love, where I know half of the wedding party and my daughter gets to help the bride hold her bouquet…. it ranks pretty high in my books! I love weddings in general (and photography too…so that works out well!) so I am always excited to share. Katy grew up next to Saint Mary’s Boat club in Halifax, and her mom and dad have a beautiful property with luscious gardens and a path leading to the boat club. It was perfectly fitting for this outdoor adventuring couple had there ceremony outside, and arrive at their reception by canoe! I love so many details from this day, but won’t ruin them all!
