10 Random Things Tuesday – All in a Weekend’s Work

Hey all and welcome to 10 random things Tuesday!!! This week I am going to tell you 10 things from the last 3 days!

1. I photographed 42 hours over the last three days. I am tired

2. I met Alex Bilodeau!!! I heard him speak at the conference I was photographing. His story of reaching his goals was beautiful.(photo above that I got someone to snag of the two of us!)

3. Clips like this can make me cry (they played one before Alex spoke and I welled up)

4. It takes 50 GALLONS of water to make a Latte. Yup, check out the video. (presenter from the WWF shared it at the conference)

5. Did you know that a blind man piloted a glorified handglider from England to Australia? What an inspiration to hear!

6. I ate my first entire chocolate bar in well…as long as I can remember. Sometimes I share one with someone or eat part and save the rest for later, but I took care of business!

7. I have a wonderful support system. Friends messaging to tell me they are praying for me to have a good sleep, dad cooking me meals because he knows I won’t have time, hubby coming to help me pack up and drive home, bff helping cover an event,  mom looking up an address when google maps on my iphone failed me.  I love you all!

8. Alexander Keith was Halifax’s first official brew master. Their was a brewery here but the owner didn’t have his brewing papers.

9. People not from Halifax have no idea how ever changing our weather can be. Many people wrote off the afternoon events because it was raining an hour before….when the tours started the sky was sunny and blue!

10. Today just may be the earliest I have gone to bed in 2010. Lots to do tomorrow but my productivity is down the pooper as I am spending half my energy keeping my eyes open! Have a great night!  xoxo
